Bazari is a shariah financing specialist with exceptional experience and knowledge in Islamic finance. He has prior working experience as a Principle Analyst for the National Islamic Economic and Finance Committee within the Islamic Capital Market and Insurance Development.
Additionally, he has also worked to develop the core business of a notable financial security under the business development and held the position as a Sharia Executive responsible in advisory work at a prominent law firm.
Bazari earned an economic degree with honors from TAZKIA University College of Islamic Economics, Indonesia, then received his Masters in Islamic Finance from the University of Durham, United Kingdom.
Bazari has attended conferences related to Islamic finance in France, Korea, and Turkey while writing academic articles for the Jakarta Post regarding Islamic mutual funds and syariah audits. He has also participated in and won numerous university and national academic competitions, most notably the ‘Best Paper Award Islamic Economics and Finance Research Forum II’ from Bank Indonesia – Indonesia Islamic Economic Expert (IAEI).
