Chuo Sogo LPC proudly hosted this year’s Globalaw Asia Pacific Regional Meeting (GLAPRM) in Osaka, Japan, welcoming delegates from over 20 countries, including representatives from all 15 Asia Pacific member firms.
Our Firm was represented by our Managing Partner Bagus Nur Buwono and Jonathan Cheong.
The event featured dynamic roundtable discussions on managing a modern law practice, covering key topics such as marketing, business development, associate training, and financial strategies.
A highlight of the meeting was the introduction of the newly established Sports Law Taskforce, led by our very own Jonathan Cheong. The panel presented the Taskforce’s objectives and engaged in a thought-provoking discussion on international and cross-border legal considerations for athletes, sports clubs, professional teams, and e-athletes. Panelists included Chris Davis of McInnes Wilson (Australia), Koji Kanazawa of Chuo Sogo (Japan), Tim Meng of Golden Gate Lawyers (China), and Christian del Rosario of CDRP (Philippines).
